What Gear Do You Use?
We like to work with Analog gear as it tends to give it a human touch. SSL Mixing consoles give a certain warmth that we all have grown to love. Each project requires different things. We work with an Ensoniq ASR-10, Juno 60, Yamaha DX7 along with Vintage mics and high end Interfaces and boards. Most of our guitars are from the 1930’s which gives us a very unique sound.
One thing I tell everyone is that The Gear doesn’t matter. Some of the worlds greatest producers have the best gear but can get it done with what you have in your Studio as well. We make good songs in spite of the gear not because of it. If it isn’t a good song all of that won’t matter.
We produce like mixing isn’t possible and mix like there is no mastering here in The Studio.
I do this from the heart and I feel like a grown up getting to play in the studio all day. I am not after anything except to make music that inspires change, or makes someone smile or even just get through something. If they have Guitars in heaven, I’m gonna play everyday.
